Drinking enough water has numerous benefits. Surprisingly, it can boost the number of calories you burn. Studies have shown that it can increase metabolism by 24-30% over 1-1.5 hours. This can amount to 96 additional calories you burned if you drank 8.4 cups of water per day. The optimal time to drink it is before meals. One study showed that downing 2.1 cups of water 30 minutes before each meal increased weight loss by 44%.



WORKOUT OF THE WEEK

Warm Up

5 rounds of 20 yard sprints. In between each sprint, do the following:

10 Mountain climbers (5 each leg)

10 Single leg hops (5 each leg)

10 Burpees


Once the 5 rounds of sprints are completed:

100 push ups

100 squats with dumbbells

100 overhead presses with dumbbells

100 body weigh lunges with dumbbells (50 each leg)
